about

Dust on Everything is a part of my film inspired song series. This song was inspired by the movie, Beetlejuice.

lyrics

Ever since we crossed that bridge
9 lives out of 10 might end up like this
Never clutch my fist
I'm peaceful not a man of evil
I left a legacy of how I treated other people

You and me rest in peace with the solar system
When I walk outside I see no birds of wisdom
I used to dream about eternity internally
With certainty the lifestyle of living externally
in firm beliefs
Now I dream and I fiend for the days and the evenings
Before we laid down to sleep
Forever

It's game changing
Don't want to spend my days pacing
Around the house like life after death
Is not amazing

I've been taking my stake in a great lake
never been the type to sell the farm and take away
a plague wage
Mainstay is capture the flag of rapture
Now I'm stretching my face into the form of some sort of raptor
We can settle these matters I'm in the basement with a ghettoblaster
Serving the foundations of the earth looking down from Jacob's ladder
All those things we never factored in
Paradise is mindset we're trapped within
when we can't win

This isn't heaven, there's dust on everything
This is not my beautiful house Anymore
I can't believe that nobody told us
Death is honest now there's no one to talk to about our plans for the future
We lived and we died together so let's take on purgatory or wherever we're shipwrecked
Everyone else can pack their bags and wait
I'm tempting fate as they cover my castle with a fresh batch of paint

Alas a quick fix cause I've been human
Bio Exorcist freelance I've been stupid
Not one to condemn Loose ends on the fence where truth ends
in the Lion's Den we stumbled across
We were stumbling lost without an entourage
Chosen we were stolen from God
Frozen in the mold of facade
Holding nothing in our hearts cold pressed for a nod
of acknowledgement
I've got the tools if you cool with another dollar spent
Trying to build a lifestyle with a calm lament

This is not how they said it would be no pearly gates or introductions
This handbook reads like stereo instructions
So what am I supposed to do with these people who never took the time to look at their surroundings
I'm bound to this reality it's savage
Sandworms are massive inhabitants
The side effects of ceasing to exist are long lasting
We forgot the handbook along with everything that mattered
Lathered in the ideals of existence Shattered
Say the name 3 times or forever hold your peace and blatter
This anvil is pulling at my weight
A slow burden anchored we were delivered from the gate
Purifications dormitory is a state we co-exist
This has been our destiny since the moment we first kissed

This isn't heaven, there's dust on everything
This is not my beautiful house Anymore
I can't believe that nobody told us
Death is honest now there's no one to talk to about our plans for the future
We lived and we died together so let's take on purgatory or wherever we're shipwrecked
Everyone else can pack their bags and wait
I'm tempting fate as they cover my castle with a fresh batch of paint
